A Week After the Typhoon

A week after the typhoon, some roads were still covered with thick mud and some villages and streets were still underwater. People who were badly affected are still staying in nearby public schools that were converted into evacuation centers, surviving on releif goods being rationed by the government and other organizations. Classes in all levels have been suspended for a week. According to the National Disaster Coordinating Council, Ondoy caused an estimated P4.8 billion, P3.6 billion of which comes from the agriculture sector.(Buck Pago/AKP-Images)
