Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (July 21) — Two new Philippine National Police (PNP) buildings will rise in two towns this year, provincial police officials here said.

Police Senior Supt. Pedro Danguilan, PNP provincial director here said more than P6 million is now in the pipeline to fund the construction of new PNP buildings in the towns of Quezon and Kasibu.

The fund, he said will come from the PNP Thrust Fund while the lot will be shouldered by the local government units concerned as counterpart.

“Originally, the more than P3 million was supposed to be released for the municipality of Aritao but the local government unit has yet to prepare a lot so the fund was realigned for the municipality of Quezon,” Danguilan said.

Once constructed, the two new PNP buildings will be added as the third and fourth newly-built PNP buildings this year under Danguilan’s term as provincial director.

Similar PNP buildings were constructed earlier this year such as the more than P19.8 million PNP building in Solano town and the more than P4.7 million PNP building in Kayapa town.

Danguilan who just recently wrapped up his two-year tour of duty as police provincial director of the province also expressed his gratitude to the provincial and municipal officials for their support in improving the administrative and operational capability of the Police Provincial Office (PPO) here.

“The improvement of our administrative and operational resources have resulted into our delivery and performance on anti-criminality and insurgency incidents and cases,” he said.

This year alone, four brand new vehicles, worth more than P4.2 million were turned ? over to the PNP here.

The provincial government also donated 14 computer sets, base radios and handheld radios, video camera, police blotters, computer printers.
