560th Air Base Wing conducts bloodletting

Cebu City (August 19) — The 560th Air Base Wing in cooperation with Philippine National Red Cross Region 7 conducted bloodletting recently at the Base Gym of the Mactan Benito Ebuen Air Base (MBEAB) in Lapulapu City.

Brigadier General Edgardo Mendoza AFP, Base Commander of 560th ABW led the blood donation to encourage the Air Force personnel to give full support to the activity.

The event was part of the month-long series of activities in celebration of its 41st Founding Anniversary on September 8, 2009.

Donors were students of the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PHILSCA), personnel of 560th Air Base Wing, 220th Airlift Wing,1st Air Reserve Center and from selected media members.

A total of 72 blood donors produce 32,400cc of blood. (PIA7/hfg)
